her mother and her grandfather are the only two people she considers family. two people --- as much as it seems like a fairly easy thing to do, genesis doesn’t really know where to begin on breaking down the news. that she’d been a disappointment? that maybe no one’s really going to be capable of loving her? it’s the first time that anyone’s ever stuck with her for so long that her family has grown to love and care for them. and naturally they would insist to be complete during the holidays, and she could already imagine breaking down at home when she arrives by herself for the first time in a while. and now she finds herself at his front door on a cold morning, ringing their doorbell, in disbelief of the favor she’s about to ask. maybe it’s selfish. maybe she’s just looking for an excuse to be with them again. but it’s going to be just one evening --- something she supposes they both could try and forget. when the door opens, her mind goes blank, but the look of confusion on the other’s face snaps her back. “ ... hey. can i come in? “

☺: do you prefer memes, or plots?

i think both have their place. i’m really shit at getting to memes (not like i’m any better at getting to replies lmfaooo), but i’m getting better at it (slowly!) i think the problem i have with memes is that i always feel like i’m god-modding the other person’s muse, which i really shouldn’t worry as much about since that’s kind of the nature of memes, i think? but like… i love plots and memes in their own way and think there’s a place for each of them.

☻: which genres do you find the easiest to play? (angst, fluff, smut, etc.)

honestly it depends on my mood! i find myself leaning heavily towards either fluff or angst, though. i’m a major hoe for either of those.

☼: which tropes do you find overused/boring?

honestly ……… none that i can think of? i feel like any trope can have a different spin put on it and turned into something new. besides, there’s literally nothing new under the sun and everything is reused over and over again so if i got annoyed with things being overused…… i would literally never be able to use any plot ever. (though, give me enough time in the tumblr rpc and im sure i’ll change my tune on this!)
