Music Video Foreshadowing
DGRSSiaddict made this fantastic video a couple of years ago where they pretty much took every moment from the Steal Your Heart Degrassi music video (from individuals, to friendships, to rivalries, to relationships) and showed all of the connections using actual scenes in Season 11.
The quality is not the best, and it's too wide-screen, but it's worth the watch.
This "Now or Never" video is my favourite out of the three because there's a mix of celebration and happiness with the angst. And the frame at 1:03 always cracks me up now that Season 13 has ended. I found Bite Your Tongue was way too heavy with the drama. The only sweetness was during the Camaya scene (x). They were also missing quite a few characters! Shark in the Water (x) was visually stunning and on point with the foreshadowing. I will forever love the fortune telling booth scene, but the repetition of the song lyrics sure got on my nerves.
I'm hoping that the Season 14 music video does a good job with the foreshadowing, and that we'll get a mix of happy moments ::cough Triles cough:: mixed in with the angsty scenes that are to be expected.
Degrassi Season Premier Run Down:
1. Maya needs to chill out and talk to Katie or a therapist or something. 2. Tristan needs to not leave Maya, even though I don't like her; it wouldn't be fair to her. 3. Zoe Rivas needs to leave. Like now. 4. I was iffy about miles until FUCKING MR. VENTURI CAME AND ABUSED HIM! Now I'm into his storyline and him. 5. Chewy....gah just so adorable. 6. DAMN YOU HELEN FOR RUINING AWKWARD ECLARE SKYPE SEX! 7. Aislinn Paul is a queen and deserved all the awards! 8. Can all guys be like Eli....please? 9. Alli and Jenna in the beginning pissed me off; every idea they have for Clare just backfires...like no. 10. Where were Jake, or Clare's dad with her in the hospital??? 11. Imogen needs to back the fuck off Adam (#Beckdam4lyfe) Over all, this episode was 7/10. I'm sort of excited for this season, but It's just SO un relatable now (with the minor exception of Clare's cancer and Mile's abuse.) AND I MISS TORI!!!
