Let's go old school. Dragonriders of Pern was a hugely influential series of sci-fi/fantasy (yes both at once). Solidly feminist for its time and genre but more of a problematic fave these days. Would love to see its world explored through a more modern lense - there's some incredibly rich ground there. Ideal reading order is a contentious topic, so I'd say start with whichever trilogy or standalone sounds most interesting to you

Honestly you exude the same energy as my mom’s neuroscience students/postdocs so I’m just gonna go there.

LOL i'm not sure if i should take that as a compliment or an expression of concern, because, well. have you SEEN the kinds of things they get up to in the neuroscience labs??? every neuroscience student is one rough night away from going full mad scientist and i love them and worry about them in equal measure

I love avriel and I love playing her. her personality is totally normal until you find out that she drinks poison on the regular and if she hasn't had enough poison lately she has passionate arguments with a voice in her head that only she can hear and is also her dad. hates cops and loves women. spoilers for an episode that hasn't come out yet but I think my greatest accomplishment in any rpg ever is forcing the gm to build an entire library so I can perform a book heist lmfao. savage worlds is such a cool system, too! I really hope tbm inspires people to start playing. anyway I'm so glad you like it, please feel free to hit me up if you ever wanna talk more abt it!!!
