Does it affect our application or participation if our AO3 is set to only members being able to view? I can make the work public for all. I set it that way due to the scraping that was happening and the bot comments so it’s easily changeable if the work needs to be public.

no, archive-locked works are more than okay, as long as you're okay with them being linked to tumblr/added to collections!
