this was such a relaxing night, i tested out these new markers i got and just went to townnnn and i needed marker scribble time so bad. it helps me to get out of my own head about making things "perfect" and it takes me back tk being a kid and just drawing w crayons.

ive also been struggling w reani art lately bc its all id been drawing, so switching it up was a good refresher and ive been able to get back into reani again w out stress! i recommend doing this for anyone getting bored w their interests

im really proud of this spread even though its messy and the quotes are alll over the place. i really like the water color effect i accidentally achieved by layering and layering colors.

also! reminder, u dont need to use super high quality art supplies to make good art, these were washable markers i got on sale :-)

the documentary was "moonage daydream" its on netflix and i highly recommend it, it gave me a new perspective on life and i learned really cool things about bowie's career and life. he actually struggled a lot w his art and hearing that about one of the best artists ever was something i needed bc ive been in such a creative slump lately. its comforting to know it happens to everyone and even the greats.

Hi your Herbert pencil trick art has me dying and struggling not to wake up my entire household right now. I also want it as a magnet, a poster, a t shirt, a sticker, a bumper sticker, a keychain, a blanket, a bookmark, a mug.......it needs to be plastered everywhere.

I'm dying. I can't. Herbert's booty cheeks are sending me. The way it somehow encapsulates middle school boy humor and that one teacher who would always bend over to help another student and all you'd get is a face full of booty cheeks while part of your brain is laughing and cackling and the other is Hill screaming his name to the heavens for his crimes done against the pencil and the entire class's eyeballs including his own is just immaculate. I'm being so genuine and for real right now when I tell you that your art cures depression.
