"Aren't we lovely?"
Also late night blathering about a few thoughts I had.
Un fantasme d'exhibition....
Rude. Very impertinent.
[As long as the boy doesn’t start asking impertinent questions.]
[What’s “impertinent” mean?]
01.05.2018 - Stiefmutter
Impertinent nennt sie mich?
Das wagte sie nicht!
Meine böse Stiefmutter,
gab mir nur Viehfutter.
Ich rebellierte sodann,
wieso sie das machen kann.
Vor ihre Füße warf ich den Fraß,
meine Contenance ich vergaß.
Danach beschimpfte sie mich,
ich glaub mit uns klappt das nicht.
Doch die Wahl lag nicht bei mir,
und die Liebe gönne ich dir.
Wir werden uns schon arangieren,
eine Beziehung des Respekts etablieren.
Für uns beide ist es nicht leicht,
doch ich hoffe, es klappt, vielleicht?
"Impertinent" "Offensive" After the shitshow that S4 was, do you think that this was meant to be taken literally?
S4? Who she? I dunno her.
LOL. Maybe it was talking about the upcoming season, ‘cause it surely describes it, hah.
In all honesty though, I begrudgingly concede that you have a point. WHY did Sherlock think this in his head and then we end up with the most offensive and impertinent season ever? Prepping us for what was to come, I suppose, LOL.
I don’t have a good answer for you, Lovely, I really don’t. I suppose since I read S4 as mostly from John’s POV, it can refer to how John still needs to have his “awakening” much like Sherlock did in TAB. Impertinent and Offensive that John still feels the need to pretend to be someone he absolutely is not, when his heart is telling him different. Sherlock is frustrated that John just won’t be himself; Sherlock already is, so why can’t John just allow himself to be?
