Emma gets down on her knees to greet the little ESPer, reaching out at the ready to catch them since they’re looking a little unsteady with the weight of whatever it is they’re carrying.
Here comes Sumireko, somehow leaving a hot chocolate making kit at Carina's place of residence!! A small scribbled note is pinned to the pack before running off: "Sorry, I'm not good at talking on days like this. I'm totally ill. Yeah, ill. Not flustered in the slightest. Yeah, yeah. Carina opens the door of her inn room as she’s leaving it, having heard Sumireko’s movement.
“Hiya~. What’s that you’ve got there?”
“Mister Slowking. Might I ask how you’re getting on with my dream journal? You’re not reading out the entries publicly to your... Uh, “Slow-Folk”, are you?”
Slowking: Absolutely not, I respect your prized possession just as much as my own possessions. However, I am finished reading your dream journal, I have never taken my eyes off of it, unless I had to be busy with something else.

Nonetheless, she doesn’t exactly look dangerous. Hell, she might be bordering human in his eyes if he could guess by the apparel.
She is deemed safe, and so she gets a greeting. a very cautious one as he slowly bows to her.
