That's right, the era of me using PC-98 soundfonts is over, this is legitemate PC-98 FM PMD MML OPNA GANGNAM STYLE or whatever the usual chiptune people like to put in their video descriptions and titles
Back in 2013, i made my first ever PC-98 soundfont arrange, it wasn't very good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFmIlGafgJc
Then, back in 2014, i tried to learn how to make legit non-soundfont PC-98 PMD MML music, with the help of Mana Kazami
However, as you might have expected, it was too hard for me, so i gave up for 11 years
UNTIL NOW!
That's right, a surprise comeback, i have avenged the failures of my younger self!
Thanks to Pedipanol's awesome new and super helpful documentation, i was able to start re-learning how to make PC-98 MML music again https://mml-guide.readthedocs.io/
There are so many new tools available now, it is easier and more accessible than ever to make legitemate PC-98 music, especially compared to 11 years ago, so if you ever felt like it was too hard in the past, please try again, and read up on all the new tools and resources, there's a chance you'll actually be able to do it this time!
Oh, and this goes without saying, but i transcribed everything by ear of course, and i added some small new background details too like those background pianos on the right side near the end, i hope you like them hehe

Lucid Dreamer is an awesome song
I used to dislike it, i used to think it sounded like most of ZUN's other modern works, but the more i listened to it, the more the song grew on me, and eventually i started to appreciate its small details more and more (you could say i didn't know it was beautiful)
Sumireko as a character has also grown more on me in the recent few months, reading up about her lore more makes me feel really curious, she feels like one of the most unqiue characters in Gensokyo that really brings a unique dynamic, the idea of being stuck inside of a dream that is Gensokyo is actually quite creepy in a way, it's a dangerous place for people from the outside world
