Whump Idea: Guided Sleeping

Whumpee hates the sound of silence. Silence meant that they had been left, that they had been abandoned. It was used as a punishment method.

But, they have been rescued. Caretaker talks to them every night until they fall asleep, till they are so exhausted that it puts them right down. And this is a continued cycle for weeks- until Caretaker has to go out of town. As in, a completely different timezone. Whumpee has recovered enough to stay alone, they assure Caretaker. They won't leave the house, so it isn't like there isn't much to worry about.

They can go without hearing Caretaker's voice lull them into sleep, they can go without hearing them or seeing them as the last thing at night. They can sleep without Caretaker.

It is only supposed to be a week.

It turns into a month.

Whumpee is agitated, and easily emotional. They are paranoid and haven't eaten or slept in several days, only passing out once their body shuts down from stress. Whumpee starts reverting to how they were before, and, even through their breakdown, the house has never been cleaner.

In fact, if they don't sleep, they can make sure not a speck of dust settles. They can make sure that everything is positioned perfectly.

Maybe, if they are good enough, Caretaker will come back soon and let them sleep.

Nope, and I don’t blame them, I would go silent aswell if I thought either he or Red went missing
