A thought based on that other ask about the caretaker who secretly hurt whumper and now their teams are meeting each other: what if whumper didn’t know who the person that hurt them was, bc caretaker was wearing a mask or something the entire time. But whumper knows that this is whumpee’s team, and when they meet caretaker their voice sounds familiar, they say some familiar phrases, or they reference something about how whumper was hurt. Then whumper realizes who this is & they’re terrified.

they're also using their previous designations, as the whumpee in this scenario is called Whumper and the whumper for this scenario is called Caretaker
whumper feels their stomach drop the moment they realize who it is. they'd know that voice anywhere; it was always purring in their ear about how they deserved their punishment and how good they were taking it
caretaker says some familiar phrases, just parts of their general speech, nothing unusual. but then caretaker meets whumper's eyes and there's a malevolent glint in them as they smirk and say one of the commands they made whumper remember
the team doesn't understand why whumper is suddenly keening, or kneeling, or staring straight ahead with a blank expression and dead eyes, but its those words, those damn words that still haunt them...
caretaker making subtle moves closer to whumper, nothing that would be noticed, but whumper is hypervigilant to anything caretaker does
caretaker intentionally moving fast or erratically to cause whumper to flinch
whumper meeting caretaker's eyes and caretaker smirks, wishing they could say this is what they get for messing with whumpee. not like they haven't said it a million times before already
