Idk why so many ppl are saying Blaze was Silver’s cheerleader in 06 when Shadow spent more than half of Heroes being Rouge’s yes man. Heck, most of “This Machine” talks about Rouge, and it’s sung by Shadow.

Why can’t a girl help someone else on their character arc w/out being demeaned for doing so?

Characters can be more than protagonists you know, and tbh, the best characters succeed at being both the main character of the story and an interesting side character in someone else’s.

On the bright side, Silver was so traumatized his baby brain decided the best option was to block out the memory. He only remembers his name, but Rouge's death was so traumatic his little baby form couldn't handle it so it opted to repress it.

In modern time, Silver is aware he had a mom and does still least recall her existence, but he can't remember anything and when he tries, it gives him insane migraines.
