She had been safely tucked away in one of the several safe houses littered throughout the simulated city, something that he is grateful for in spite of his animosity towards her. Lelouch’s last message to him still rung in his mind; he had to watch after her while war ravaged the city. Keep her and Euphemia safe, though he didn’t know where she could possibly be. Not dead, hopefully.
His heart beat erratically in his chest, horribly overworked from overusing his geass to just get here. It hurt, but there was little he could do about it other than accept it. There was no time to rest, no time to recover. Not with a war raging outside these walls.
