As I mentioned in my other post (posted via mobile because i could not get out of bed for the life of me), I had surgery early this morning. 

I just did a reply on my oc account, but it takes me a while to actually get a reply done due to being delirious. 

While I will have plenty of time to get to replies... I can only do them one at a time. I apologize, but it's hard for me to keep focus without dozing off... Plus, there are other things I would like to be able to do besides just rp all day. If I were to do just that, I'd grow tired and weary of it right now.

I know you guys are out there, and I really need your input right now. The link above is to my DeviantArt account. I've linked to it for a reason. I'll most likely be updating it soon. I haven't drawn in a while. I had no time, I was busy, and then I was injured.

I'm turning to my art as a hopeful opportunity to help both myself, as well as my parents.

Back in March, as my older followers may be aware of, I was in an absolute horrific car accident. No one knows how myself and my friends got out of the car alive. I have Volkswagen to thank for our survival, as well as my deceased loved ones who were watching over us that night. 

I am physically unable to work, and I was unemployed prior to the accident (due to mental health reasons). I had a job just about lined up when the accident happened, and well... I couldn't work before starting, so... That went out the window.

My father, three weeks ago, blew his knee out at work and is now not receiving his full pay. It sucks, but that's how his job works. He's our only source of income. My mom doesn't work. And my brother works for himself and no one else. So money is getting really tight.

Even though extended periods of writing hurt my hand something fierce, due to my injuries from the accident... I have no option. I am hoping to turn to art [commissions] in order to help my parents and myself out. I know it won't be much, but I have to do something.

I have never posted any of my art on here before... So I'm linking to my outdated DeviantArt to show a little of what I can do. 

I'm simply asking all of you guys if you'd be interested in commissioning me, or if you'd at least be willing to spread the word for me, if I can get assistance from my parents as far as setting up a PayPal goes. There'd be no shipping fee. 

I'm in a bind. I feel useless, and I really have no other options as far as making any bit of money goes. And there's no knowing how long my dad will be out of work. So please, guys, I need feedback on this idea.

I'm already working on new artwork to update my DeviantArt with since it's been mooonths, if not a year since I have touched it. There will be Avengers, Supernatural, and other things I'll be putting into my style. 

I may even just end up making a new DeviantArt since I haven't used my other one in so damn long.

{ Had to step out for Physical Therapy. Finally got approved. That's the good news of the day for me. Currently there. Poking on on mobile to let it be known the blog is in disarray, because of renovations and reorganizing being done. I had to leave it unfinished because of my appointment. Also, I may not be done with it by the end of night. I should be going out after I'm done with p.t. I may have only maybe 30mins after getting home. I'm noy sure. }

{Car Accident}

I was in a really nasty car accident last night while on my way home with friends. All of us are alive and breathing. The responders don't know how we got out of the car at all. One of my friends is at a trauma center. She got it the worst. I got it pretty bad myself. Scans and xrays all over. Needless to say, I'm not entirely with it.. and won't be for a while. No broken bones. Massively bruised ribs, cuts and abrasions by my left eye, stitches about a centimeter from my actual eye (where they had to pull some glass out}, my left hand is black and blue with cuts all over, probably sprained. My knees are banged up, my right is the worst. I have multiple follow up appointments I have to go to within the next week. All four of us are extremely blessed to be alive right now. And I'm so thankful for Volkswagen for making cars that kept us alive. }

{IMPORTANT POST ABOUT REPLIES & MY ACTIVITY}

{ I literally just got home from work. Steadily busy all day.

The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, which means that I'll be free all day tomorrow and the day after. I would say tonight, but my friend (and fellow waitress) and I decided to celebrate our survival of the day by having drinks. So I won't be getting to replies tonight.

Goal is to at least start cranking them out tomorrow through Monday. Until I get myself into somewhat of a routine my activity will be sporadic. Sundays and Mondays may be the designated reply-posting days (but as I get adjusted, I will try getting some done between then). 

Asks and such will be addressed as often as possible, since they're often the easiest things to get to. I'll most likely be coming up with some sort of schedule for what I take care of and when. So stay tuned. }

{got the job}

{ I got the job. It wasn't as formal as I expected. It's under the table and pay is based on tips since there's no actual payroll. At first I was pretty bummed about it (and I mean, for all of like ten seconds).. But I quickly realized that it's better than nothing, and at least I'll have a little bit of cash. Not a lot.. but it's at least something. After a year and a half of being unemployed, I have to take what I can get.

I just have to get adjusted to something new, since I've never waitressed except for volunteer work. This is kind of different. 

At least I have something to occupy me, and it gives me a little motivation to keep looking now. I was seriously reaching a point of just totally giving up.

Right now, I just don't have enough clothing suitable for this job. So I may be busy with not only working seven hours for mere tips, I also have to find and get actual work clothes and shoes that I work in comfortably.

Needless to say, this is a head's up that I may be practically non-existent up until Sunday most likely. Depending on the conditions tomorrow/today [depending on how you want to look at it time-wise, given when I'm posting this], I actually may not end up working. (There's supposed to be some sort of monster snowstorm/nor'easter hitting my area at some point in the day.)

But yeah, if you notice I haven't been posting or Tumblr says I haven't posted in a couple days, it's because I'm getting adjusted to work. }

{important: to any of you guys using SCM, please read}

It was brought to my attention by Blue-mod that they couldn't reply because of some music banner. I just had to figure out how to get rid of the SCM player on my blog. It's making everyone's blog pages look like a replica of their page- only with your blog's color scheme. 

I tried to remove the player code from my theme, but couldn't get to the customize page. I know there's probably an easier way to go about it; someone else's post mentioned going through blog settings. I couldn't seem to figure that out. Fortunately I had a dead RP account without the player on it. Just copy/pasted the address in the bar.

So, for anyone who's having difficulty, feel free to use the below web address. The all caps is where you'd put your url:
