important update on middle of the night

Long post incoming below the cut!

The tldr version is this: this year (aiming for October) I will be self publishing Middle of the Night as an original novel!! Yay!

The bad news: I'll be deleting the original fanfic version. I know that sounds very scary but please read this post and don't jump to any conclusions. I will give you a LOT of heads up on the actual deletion date!

As many if you know, I've been working on getting motn published. I couldn't get a traditional publisher (literally just because of how the market is right now) so I made the decision to self publish. Again, yay! Even as I was writing the fic, Bruce Wayne and the reader really started taking on a life of their own. The reader, in particular. It started to feel less like a fanfiction the farther I got into it, and it turned into something wonderful.

The novel itself is like 95% done, and then my wonderful amazing friend who did the fanart cover back in 2022 is doing this cover as well! During that time I'll be doing all the admin stuff etc etc before publishing.

However, I've made the difficult decision to get rid of the original fic version. The novel is very very similar. It has all the scenes you love in the fic, but has been completely reworked to be, in my opinion, a thousand times better. There's just no Batman stuff in it. But trust me, if you've read and loved the fic, you'll love the "original" version. Seriously, you will!

Please note I will be keeping the sequel, movie tie-in fic shadows in the night posted! I also will be doing a novella likely early next year with all of motn's added oneshots: which means they will be going away as well. That's not set in stone, however, and I will update you on that!

Feel free to download and save the fic to your hearts content. I'm going to download it as well before the re-release and will have it on hand for anyone who needs it!

Again, I know this will be pretty upsetting to those of you who are big fans of middle of the night. But seriously, seriously the original novel has all the things you love in it, I swear! Please give it a chance.

I'll be making more posts as I choose a release date, have a cover, and all of that fun stuff. Please, please bear with me. This is going to be such a good thing!

Where my Sunshine Goes update

Botan: so sorry for not updating this fic for a few weeks we both been very busy with other things

Nobody01 : yea it's been a hectic time, but me and Botan have a form of a schedule going, so we will try to be a bit better with the updates 

Botan: Also it’s been getting harder to write this. I do have other fics in the making with other friends and some that are out, but they will be a LOT slower to update, and that means this one too.

Nobody01 : Yeah we do have a point in the fic we want to get to, but trying to get there has proved to be a challenge. 

Botan: so this will take a lot longer to update and give you a better chapters than what we have been doing
