The ridiculously brave man seemed about to try to fight despite his conditions, and Emma was already halfway through the port before Pinocchio could finish cursing at her for that, after putting her satchel in his hands.
"I'll fight you for it!" Blackbeard turned incredulously as she continued: “ You clearly like unfair fights anyway, shouldn't be a problem, right? ‘Nocchio, come get my medical supplies ready for this man here."
"You want the Jolly Roger?" the unsuspecting cheater asked, and Emma knew he was going to find out the hard way who actually had the upper hand. "I heard he had wenches desperate for his attention, but this is new!" he laughed, turning to his men.
"Not a wench. Apparently I'm his second now, so get ready. Because I’m winning,” she drew her sword and ran up to him, immediately attacking. At first she moved slower, studying him, playing, but then turned against him, avoided another dirty trick in favor of kicking him back hard. She loosened her cloak, turning to look at the real captain and winking, before slamming the word against Blackbeard’s and fighting hard enough to send him on the floor again.
Having a moment, she stepped back, swirling her sword in her hand, “What’s your name, by the way?” she asked the pirate she was helping.
