My compliment to myself is that one of our absolute wizards with IV insertions, was part of the vascular access team at a previous hospital, was having an off day and asked me for help (TWICE!) and I was like ma'am, you're the person I go to if I have trouble, what do you think I'm going to do? And then I got them both.
And if you feel like writing a drabble, I would love to see something for either MacGyver or MASH. Memory loss has been on my mind (and that's not a pun) ranging from inconsequential forgetfulness to dramatic amnesia and anything in between
Also I've been thinking a lot about breakfast foods. They're familiar and comforting, and relatively easy to make and eat
Or anything that sparks your interest, I'm not picky
me, nodding reading this ask with the image of a nurse wearing a whole wizard's outfit and hat: the IV wizard yes yes we've all heard of her-
That's so cool though!! You must have the magic touch with bad veins, and now the hottest commodity on the floor!
I decided to go MacGyver for this one because it has been a hot second, but I might also go back and give Hawkeye some post-4x18 "Hawkeye" amnesia as well...
send me a prompt!
Mac sets down the screwdriver and it promptly, instantaneously, leaves the plane of existence. He hasn't even withdrawn his hand from the kitchen table that he's perched upon when he looks down to ind the space empty. A noise made of more confusion than anything else escapes him as he twists as far as he can whilst still keeping his other hand inside Bozer's new air fryer where he's currently holding together three and a half pieces of plastic that he really, really can't afford to let go of and lose again. The screwdriver is well and truly gone. His feet, which rest on the seat of one of his kitchen chairs, flex as he looks around the table once more. Physics be damned, maybe some of Jack's favorite sci-fi movies are right and there's some other dimension that all of his tools have been disappearing to. "Mac." "Yep," he replies, absolutely, one hundred percent, not with a jump because he definitely knew that Jack was still in the house and didn't leave an hour ago. "What's up?" "What's with the stretch? You look like you're tryin' to turn yourself into one of those silly straws." Mac relaxes and hunches back over the air fryer. "Trying to find the screwdriver." There's a beat of silence taken up by Jack raises his eyebrows, and then, "You mean the one in your hand?"
