Staring blankly at door to the arcade, Charles stood behind the prize counter. It was a slow, as was honestly typical for the start of the week, but it felt worse than usual. Maybe it had to deal with the fact that most of the people who went to the arcade were still in school. Or perhaps he was just letting his mind wander towards the future too much. It could be both, he supposed as he slide out from behind the counter, tapping another employee on the shoulder and letting them know he was taking his break.
Once in the back room, he was quick to pull out his phone and open it to the text exchange between him and Luna. Maybe he could...?
[ to Princess Luna: ] I love you, Rose Princess.
The message was typed easily enough, but then Charles just sat, finger hovering over the send button for a moment. Tch, it was embarrassing this was flustering him. Still, he sent it, a question in mind for whenever Luna had a moment to respond.
