More Than A Date || Luna & Charles
Charles was anxious, as he stood in the entry room of his and Luna’s house, fiddling idly with the buttons on one of his vests. Today was the day. Today was when he planned to propose to Luna, and even though he prepared for it and she told him she’d say yes, he was still worried. Worried the date might not go as planned, that maybe something would happen and throw it all off.
Heck, he almost threw things off by being sick the prior two days.
That didn’t matter right now though, it was in the past. Now he was just waiting for Luna to come down the stairs, him already dressed in the outfit he bought from her at Sonata, blue feather tucked in the inner pocket of his vest. Of course, the necklace he intended to give her before the feather was in one of his pockets too, stored safely in a small jewelry box. He’d give them to her when they went to the Tea House to eat, he had decided a while ago. Before that, they had planned on going to a few places, though the only one that had a definite place with order was the arcade, since it was the closest to their home.
Suddenly, Charles heard a door upstairs open, followed by steps towards the stairs. He was silent as he waited, facing the stairs in anticipation.
When he actually saw Luna, there was no stopping a small blush from hitting him. “You look beautiful, Princess...”
