Dean was growing impatient.

They’d been sitting in this damn diner for hours now - Sam clacking away on his laptop, doing the research that Dean himself had claimed was necessary, but goddammit, all he wanted to do was leave.

Leave and mess around with his brother, because it had been days since they’d done the deed and he was getting restless.

It started with his hand on Sam’s thigh - subtle enough - and seeing as the place was completely packed and bustling with energy that in no way revolved around the two of them, no-one noticed the fact that Dean now sat on the same side of their booth as Sammy.

He continued pecking at his fries as he rubbed his brother’s thigh, fingers inching further up as the seconds ticked.

Next, and once he’d ensured that absolutely no-one was looking their way - which wasn’t all that surprising, seeing as both televisions were airing what he guessed were current football games, and had caught the attention of most of the diner’s population - the eldest Winchester eased to the side, and kissed Sam chastely on the lips.

      ” - Let’s get outta here.”

When it was all over and done with, and Dean's pants couldn't possibly be any more ruined than they currently were, the Winchester glanced back, eyes wide, his features tainted with vibrant humiliation. He stared at Sam, begging him to come over and interfere - to get this police man, whose attention had finally been grabbed, to stop staring.
