What do you do the day before your first chemo treatment?? 🤔 You nest!! That’s right, just like before you had your first baby. The thing is, you know you’re going to be so damn fatigued to do anything. I’m not talking about the type of fatigue you can have a nap and feel better, I’m talking about feel like you’ve been HIT by a semi truck fatigue. ⠀ ⠀ My husband’s been working hard getting the laundry all caught up, getting groceries.. #lovehim💙 basically anything and everything he can think of to help prepare. I’m helping with the laundry, getting all sheets changed and washed, cleaning out our bedroom and setting up the living room so I have a space of sanctuary. And guys, LIFE DOESN’T STOP just because you have cancer so I’m getting any last minute business stuff done (payroll, promotions, etc). ⠀ ⠀ I know my journey ahead is going to be HARD but like anything in life, if we fail to prepare, we prepare to fail. I may not have control that my cancer is back BUT I can control how I respond to it. 👊🏼 #sheisfeisty #imreadyimready #letsdothis💪 #fucancer #comeonletsgo #letsdance #ovariancancer #ovariancancercanada (at Edmonton, Alberta) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzEi8xBIEj_/?igshid=1woj3tv8de5r5
