Step Across The Border Final Piece- For my final piece I decided to do an improvisation and wanted to combine improvisation with poetry. I wanted to have guitar, piano and drums and for the key to be set so that it didn't sound so much like an avant-garde piece. My aim was to try and make an improvisation which felt like it fitted with the poem and was conventionally pleasing to listen to. 

I used logic to cut up the poem and so that it didn't sound to empty when there wasn't any words I put an ambient drone in the background. I also put the words of the poem along with the audio on a video which I made in iMovie. This played whilst the improvisation was being performed.
