Let’s talk about nudity on social media. Where do we draw the line? Is there a line that needs to be drawn? Why do some get to show their bodies and some not? The nipples... OMG the nipples, why is that still a thing? Everywhere else women’s nipples are shown but not here. I’m taking a risk here, but I’m very curious of why nudity is such a huge thing. We’re all born naked aren’t we? A voluptuous woman gets fat shamed and/or called ‘brave’ depending on who sees the picture. In this forum I think we’ve all seen pictures of half naked and/or totally naked ppl. Sexualisation might be the issue... this picture ⬆️ is not meant to be sexy. It’s just a body. It’s not an invite of any sort. I know many of us don’t like what we see when we look at our reflection in the mirror. This and that is not perfect, a new line, too much hair, crocked nose or something like that. It’s a full time job worrying about what we look like. A job we don’t get paid for and the only person that is worrying is you. A woman told me last year she decided to stop feeling ashamed. Yesterday was such fun. Seeing old and new friends, went to a fabulous concert a la SDF. And then went out for a few drinks. today.. not as fun. Haven’t been allowed to eat all day just drink a lot of water and mix it with the medication I got from the doctor. After throwing up everything and feeling poorly I took a long bath, gave myself a mani pedi and I’m already feeling so much better.
