Cold weather made it better
After a friend cancelled on our Baguio trip plan, I decided that I had to do something to make the best happen.
It was a challenge as I would be travelling with two other friends who are also strangers to Baguio but so what? That makes it more fun for all three of us. Below are the pics of the outfit that was very much complimented by the place’s weather. :)
I wore a pinkinsh cardigan over my black and white stripes crop top together with my dark acid wash highwaist shorts. I then paired the outfit with my Converse sneakers to add a casual feel to the entire look. Finally, to compliment the cold weather, I had on a dark grey bonnet and a light grey scarf. :)
It was very comfortable to move in that set and I made sure that the coordination of the individual pieces will make it look like a chill kind of chic. ♥♥♥
Dressing Up - What it really is
Whenever people say "dress up", there is always that pressure to wear something "extravagant". I know this because every time I suggest to my friends that we dress up they go "what?!...when will we go shopping?!...I don't have extra money now!".
This shouldn't be the case. I wish to remove the negative notion of "dressing up".
Dressing up can be:a simple crop top, jeans and flat sandals. Heels, expensive brands and various accessories aren't necessary but they are very much welcome.
In these photos, I’m wearing a crop top bought in the department store of Landmark, Freego jeans and flat sandals from Rusty Lopez. I got my shoulder bag during a Christmas sale for Michaela. The only thing important when we “dress up” is to be comfortable with what we wear.
In these photos, I’m wearing a crop top from Landmark, Freego jeans, flat sandals from Rusty Lopez and a brown Michaela shoulder bag(the black bag and the shades belong to my friend). I based this look on my personality. The red 90s crop top tells people my generation and I am a proud 1993 baby. I like wearing jeans because they showcase the shape of my legs. I enjoy wearing flat sandals because I like to show my nail polish(although I didn't color my toe nails at this time) and make my feet breathe(they're in office shoes most time of the week). Finally, I normally use a relatively big shoulder bag because I want to make sure I get my "essentials" in.
With this look:I went to church and then had lunch at SM Aura. I also went out to have a snack at BGC with some of my friends(please excuse this blur shot;La Lola churros are soooo good by the way :D).
...
That was my Sunday ootd and with that I leave you this:the important thing when we “dress up” is to be comfortable with what we wear.
