Tender radiosilence. Alastor is not into Vox that way but he cares. Vox can be the creepiest stalker rapist in the show and Alastor will still accidentally always forgive him. Alastor is willing to goad and use Vox but will never deliberately cause him or his true harm. Vox will be trying to for real kill him and Alastor will just be dodging the shots. Vox could be above him in raw power but Alastor can still eaily stunt on him with skill. There is no line Vox could cross that Alastor will not simply back away from. Guilt and memory and keeping the secret firmly buried so Vox will never, ever, ever know he didn't mean what he said. Desperate effort to dislike him for all the reasons he is objectively dislikable that still fizzles into nothing the minute Alastor loses hold of it. Empty threats. Vulnerability because you cannot bear to protect yourself from the one you'd hurt first. Hurting him again and again because you must keep the mask up. The infinite dance.
