Does IMVU Take Care of Their User Base?
Let’s be honest there’s some things that really grind our gears. One of these things that are a pet peeve for me is when companies of their own virtual world platform don’t take care of their communities. Despite some incidents where I’ve flagged something and it wasn’t seen as an issue and tossed to the wayside. IMVU does for the most part take care of it’s ever growing community and user base. Today I was sent a spam message, you know how in MMORPG’s like SWTOR you’ll see random usernames with letters and numbers trying to get you to click the link. Buying currency from their website that you can just buy on your own if you wait for the right point during a sale. Honestly, I don’t mind these messages and just delete them but I’ll be good and say I was having a rough day and I did flag it because it was the first thing I dealt with while being in my feels. 1 hour later the username is now disabled. I can’t stress this enough when I say if they’re not taking care of an issue it’s for one of two things. I’m sharing this as an informational post. Positive vibes please this is only informational for those who want to read. If you want to know more about IMVU’s customer service and how it works please continue reading.
You didn’t flag the issue for them to find the proof in their database. Screenshots don’t work it will backfire on you big time I know this from experience trying to resolve an issue a while back in the past. IT HAS TO BE FLAGGED!
Because of COVID-19 they’re full office of customer support staff is currently not there. From experience there are more reports than people currently working on all of these flagged issues and case reports. Please be patient! this goes for any virtual world currently. They’re all struggling to keep up while cutting corners to ensure that they don’t go out of business like so many companies have recently.
