i’ve seen a lot of people asking for assad zaman to write the TVA adaptation, but assad already has a job and he’s very good at it! i worry that it’s too much of a burden for him in terms of having to write and act. i’d like for them to get more south asian writers in the room because we deserve a chance! i love assad i want him there! i want his input and i trust him to execute the vision. but i also trust that there’s a lot of people (like me) who would be so grateful for the chance to be part of the creation of a queer brown character! we don’t get a lot of those in mainstream media
