Chris Cohen – In A Fable
The Curtains, Ariel Pink, Deerhoof ve Cass McCombs gibi isimlerle çalışmış olan müzisyen Chris Cohen, ilk solo albümünü 2012 yılında yayınlamıştı.
Cohen, 6 Mayısta As If Apart adlı 2. stüdyo albümünü piyasaya sürecek. Torrey Pine kaydıyla müjdelenen bu albümden In A Fable ismindeki başarılı şarkı da duyuruldu.
I became fairly obsessed with Chris Cohen’s debut Overgrown Path when I finally came across it a couple of years ago. This new track from his upcoming LP As Is Apart has the same breezy, folksy sound I grew to love. It’s the kind of song I want to listen to on a slow, sunny Sunday morning, while making tea in my pajamas and socks.
He’s going on a mini tour to support the album, but unfortunately, he’s not stopping through DC. Hopefully I’ll get to catch him soon. The last time I tried to see him, he was supposed to headline for DIIV, but he canceled due to illness. I have faith it will happen soon!
