In This Place

I was in a really unhealthy relationship and it has been a little bit over four years since I have been in that relationship. I am with someone different and we have been together for four years. He is the best person that I have ever dated and I see being with him for the rest of my life. It took me a really long time to get to a place I feel the most comfortable in my life. My ex-boyfriend has contacted me multiple times over the four years and I just could not talk to him, it always made me have such anxiety. Most times he contacted me, I would just ignore him. I am now at a place in my life, where I’ve let so many grudges go and stopped thinking about the past. My ex-boyfriend just recently messaged me and I kind of was happy that he is happy now. And It was nice to hear from him. I feel like I have moved on from my past, that I don’t look back anymore. I just want to keep improving my life.
