posted an observation of an american crow... moments later the ID was confirmed by inaturalist user "americancrow" life is beautiful
ive decided to dedicate myself to trying to learn how to identify sparrows so i can give myself a very specific kind of anxiety by iding them on inaturalist where anyone can see me possibly be wrong
the key to identifying a common grackle vs a boat-tailed or great-tailed grackle (if you dont have a good profile shot) is whether or not its wearing a vest
I dont have to argue with other inaturalist users
when i first started doing ID's id be like ummm 👉👈🥺this looks more like a song sparrow to me because kf these field marks thats just my thought though im not certain anyone else please weigh in i dont know anything. now i just say This is a song sparrow. fuck qith me
