Nightmares
Tatara is definitely not one to get nightmares, or not in the literal sense. You won’t catch him jolting awake in a cold sweat, gasping or shaking, anytime soon. He has no qualms with his past despite all that’s happened and who he’s lost, so I can’t imagine he’d be all that bothered to the point that it’d interrupt his rest. It might have been a problem in the past, closer to the point in time when he’d lost Chi She Lian, but with all the time that’s passed, it’s probably not that much of a problem anymore.
End
When I think of the word “end”, all that comes to mind is Death and all that it brings tbh. So I’ll elaborate on that!
Tatara is a very prideful being - but, while he likes to put forth just what he’s capable of, the chances he’ll let himself be driven to death in the midst of a mission are slim. Despite the belief that his underlings should give their all, even if their all means their life, he won’t let himself be cut down that easily. Though if he’s up against Houji, of all people, I think he’d be in enough of a rage to set that aside. Houji is definitely a fight-to-the-death kinda enemy.
Epiphany
I’m gonna be honest, Tatara has an epiphany every single time he bests someone stronger than himself. As aforementioned, he’s prideful, and taking an enemy down, proving he’s the better one, is probably enough to get him off. (Not really, but could you imagine?)
Memories
Memories are something he does Not enjoy. He might come off as your stereotypical “lingering in the past is weak” kinda asshole, and he would try “teaching” that to his underlings, but that’d be pretty hypocritical. There are nights, even days, when all is calm and quiet and he’s just there, reminiscent of his past, mulling over thoughts of Fei and Yan despite it doing nothing but eventually spiking his anger.
