Going back to working on my evil project is calling my name but i really need to decide on a trajectory & overall end/chronology for the story. Ive got basic stuff down but i yearn to actually get into the nitty gritty shit- same for the designs most of them r getting tweaked. Spiral is getting a cuter face first off tho, i was looking at old designs of him,, they've always been the cutest i need to add the roundness back tho i miss it

I just wanted to kinda elaborate on the colors that will be used in his design.. corruption in general
Corruption is made up of severe emotions & targets such to spread in this world, therefore it is able to absorb souls of all kinds as well as the traits of human souls, including the victim's emotional states.. which has the substance itself have alot of underlying hues of colors (cough oil spill kinda.. lovely comparison from cowriter)
But for the entities that form from corruption, the color is based upon their overall type of corrupt they became (completely forgot to even post abt this)
So yeah, corrupts have more uniform coloring compared to overall corruption substance
For Somn however, due to being related to the Tree (inherintly relating him to corruption itself), his coloring is made up of the same as the substance itself, however hues can slightly change depending on mood! Mood can also cause his physical state to become a bit less stable, the more control he has over his emotions the more stable he is.. hes also like lowk similar to oobleck except if it where the opposite (physical form is solid when no forces interact, if you were to hit him it'd slightly turn to a more gooey form) regardless of that he cant really get hurt by physical attacks?..
Sort of a similar thing for Lily.. her skin's kinda blue bc she doesnt actually have blood but corruption in replacement of such so blah blah where blood would flow is a mix of blues & blacks so she looks a little sickly all the time, her hair is an example of the other hues in addition to the albanism
She however is not made of an oobleck-like substance lmao
It's gonna be soooo fun having people refer to sol & somn as dream & nightmare if inborn ever picks up in the utmv community. Haha. Haaaa cannot wait to deal with that 💔
