HELLO MY DEAR I’m a new follower and while I promise I’m gonna go through your wip pages I don’t exactly have the attention span right now so could I trouble you for some short n sweet summaries of any wips n characters you talk about?
Of course ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’d be happy to oblige!! (And I COMPLETELY understand. I have a list of WIPs I need to go through once I have the time/attention/etc to do so xD)
The Martyr Queen - Fate has betrayed the gods. She sends her Champion, Kai’os, to destroy the world, and tells him that he shall be god of the next. The only one who can stand against them is Alinora Mynerva—a young eleven woman who was never meant to exist.
Alinora Mynerva — 27 year old elf. She lost her homeland 10 years ago, alongside many of those she loved. She’s spent the time since then living among assassins, waiting for the day she’ll have a chance against Kai’os.
Elaena — One of Death’s reapers. An ageless being who takes a humanoid female form. She has been tasked with guiding Alinora in her journey to retake her homeland and stop Fate’s Champion. As well as convincing her to take the mantle of Death’s Champion.
Lyr Inerra — 29 year old Slaeyr, and Kai’os’s nephew. After Kai’os killed his mother, he and his twin sister Ava went into hiding, searching for a way to kill him. They believe they’ve found one, in the form of a sword that can kill anything. However, Lyr finds himself dreading the days to come, when he will take over his mother’s mantle of leader.
Ava Inerra — 29 year old Slaeyr, and Kai’os’s niece. While Lyr remains preoccupied with leading, Ava has other concerns. How are they to stop another of theirs from betraying the world if they remain so scattered? The Slaeyr need a home, a place to settle. But where could they find such a place…?
Talitha Jade — 29 year old pirate captain and magical genius. Talitha is Lyr’s best friend, and she’s spent the past 10 years believing he perished with his mother. Her quest against Kai’os was one of vengeance—until he reemerged. Now, instead of her own vengeance, she intends to help her best friend get his.
Aishlynn Mynerva — 41 year old Slaeyr, and Alinora’s estranged older sister. Aishlynn’s part in this could have many reasons. Does she seek to save her old homeland? To save the people she joined, at 16? Or is there some deeper purpose?
And then there are a few minor characters, but I think six is enough—don’t you??
Anyway. TMQ is my main WIP and the one I scream about the post. I believe that this Camp NaNo willl Be all that I need to finally finish the first draft, and I’m stoked.
Sapphire Dreaming — Aura Laevis is the Lignt Keeper of Gems, meant to protect the kingdom of Fayvale from the Dark Keeper. The trouble is, she’s not IN Fayvale. She’s in the kingdom of Middell, which lost all of its magic long ago. Here, the Dark Keeper reigns as a noble, the king and queen at her beck and call. To escape to Fayvale, Aura must find the enchanted sapphires.
Aura Laevis — 21. She’s known she was the Lignt Keeper for as long as she can remember, beginning during her days at the Swammarsh orphanage. Now, she’s an adventurer and thief, known as the Sapphire Dream.
Melantha — 23. A young woman from Fayvale, who arrives at Aura’s base of operations (an inn known as the Golden Coin) claiming that she knows the location of the sapphires. AND that she can teach Aura magic…
Chase Linwood — 20. A young man who lives in Fortwall, and who Aura feels strangely connected to. Melantha tells her that he was meant to be her Guardian, to aid in the fight against Corintha. The third member of her party, the Knight, is in Fayvale, waiting for her.
Corintha Voclain — Age unknown. She is the Dark Keeper, and she claims the sapphires before Aura can. It’s a race against time to get them before she can enact whatever horrible plan she has.
SD was the first novel I ever finished. It needs a major rewrite, as the plot is a bit different than before, but I do still adore it. I dunno when I’ll get back to it, but it deserves a mention~
Valkyrie — (temporary title) A young slave girl comes into possession of five dragon eggs after she escapes. She takes them to the desert, but finds the place inhospitable for both herself and the eggs. Despite that, one of them hatches anyway—and as the two grow older, they spark a revolution that starts in the desert and reaches all the way to her old home.
Slave Girl — nameless for the moment. Her family once ruled the kingdom before the dragon haters came. They enslaved her people and killed off the dragons. At 13, she escapes and finds a dying dragon who entrusts her with what remains her and her wing-sibling’s clutch.
Zahana — a black scaled, golden eyed dragon. She hatches despite the harsh conditions and lack of flame. She thinks of SG as her mother, and will protect her at all costs.
A (hopefully) stand-alone WIP still in the brainstorming stage! I’m planning on working on it once TMQ is finished, before I do my first round of edits/rewrites ;)
