Unlikely conversation between Super Snooper and Inch High, Private Eye
[Wherein Inch High is on Super Snooper's office desk considering the former's rather dimunitive size]
INCH HIGH: And people just have to wonder how a detective my own size can manage to pull his job off in spite of!
SUPER SNOOPER: Which is rather amazing to no end, I have to acknowledge like. But still, can communications between fellow detectives at your firm manage to be difficult?
INCH HIGH: At least the use of speech-to-text apps on the mobile phones helps. Yet you have to be sure that the whole doesn't get garbled on the other end, which can get rather embarrassing; echoes, accents, lisping and background noises can pose their share of problems ... which brings to mind a rather interesting story from the dawn of the computer age.
SUPER SNOOPER: I believes you mean the one about a rather awful attempt at translation--
INCH HIGH: THAT one--as in attempting to round-trip translate, from English to Russian, then back to English, that remark of the Apostle Paul about "the flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong" ... which came back from the Russian as "the meat was rotten, but the vodka tasted excellent"!

BLABBER MOUSE: I should apologise there, Inch High, for Snoop's reaction to that rather hilarious story as you just related. Snoop, at times, can't help but find hilarity galore in certain stories.
INCH HIGH: Though I do admit that I could use some rather strong coffee and a piece of kringle from Racine, Wisconsin ...
