I think you're the first writer I've ever met that actually took his book down due to 'sexism and being generally bad'. Could you tell us a little more about that? c:

If this gets at least 100 notes, I’ll go into vivid detail on why I took down both This Crazy World and its sequel. Until then!

This Crazy World stars a 24 White dude named Nicholas Orinvinchi (admittedly, his last name is one of the only legitimately cool things about the series.) After his uncle finds out Nick cheated on his girlfriend (Miu Kato), said uncle blackmails him into saving the world from a death ray machine. Because if his girlfriend finds out, she will absolutely kill him.

Accepting every layer of ludicrosity for the absurdity that it is, Nick drags his girlfriend and around 6 other killers to make their way to said death ray machine and kill the one responsible for threatening the planet. What follows is a quick and maddening descent into ‘So Dark, So Gritty’ territory with no nuance on how to deliver the satirical portion of the book, making it being taken completely seriously.

But that isn’t even the main problem. The main problem is how problematic it is from a social, narrative, and characterization standpoint. If you thought Women of Xal’s demo was thoughtfully written and respectful to women, you can throw away any faith you had in me as a writer if you decide to read that seven year old book as I only ‘really’ got into my groove around two years ago.

Old song is old, but I still remember the painstaking amount of notes that went into that steel guitar. The next time I decide to push myself for boss battles with fast paced string plucking....I’mma just learn how to literally play the steel guitar. Because that was ridiculous.

Ahora hay que sumarle el vivir en época de redes sociales, las cuales potencian la desinformación, la polarización. Época en la que todos tenemos una suerte de megáfono virtual para dar a conocer nuestras opiniones, por tontas u ofensivas que parezcan, como cierta señora que escribió, y cito: “Hasta la tierra está indignada con la violencia y la sangre derramada”. Se le podría decir a Ingrid que este país se desangra todos los días; ha habido más de 6.402 tragedias familiares, y no ha temblado 6.402 veces a causa de ello; todo el tiempo hay asesinatos injustos; el erario es ordeñado sin vergüenza por políticos desgraciados, y la tierra no se sacude con indignación en cada oportunidad.  

En fin. Que miro las noticias, del país y del mundo, y la mayor parte del tiempo, mi sincera reacción es:
