Steve steps into the room, preoccupied with his phone. He was getting the hang of most of its functions, but it had a bad habit of trying to correct the words he typed, which got annoying every once and a while. He wasn't making much progress with it, so he stuck it back in his pocket, making a mental note to ask someone more technologically-savvy about it later.
That's when he noticed the other person in the room, who was looking decidedly frustrated with something.
"You okay?" Steve asked, frowning in consternation. "Need help with anything?"
We compromised. Sometimes in ways that made us not sleep so well. But we did it so that people could be free.
