so this’ll sound whiny, but my phone recently stopped working. since my mum is the only one who actually ever calls me on it (since everyone else just uses the internet), she offered to buy me a new one.

i said “i just need one that can call and send texts, nothing fancy or anything and that isn’t locked, so i can use my old sim card in it”

so she buys and sends me a phone, nd right the on the box is a big sticker that says “this phone is locked to tesco mobile”

do old people do this stuff on purpose or something? so they get to act all sad and put-upon when you’re annoyed at them?

i won’t say anything about it to her, of course, just to deprive her of that

And this year is starting off awesome! I mean aside from the fact that we're getting snow *again* wtf... But I mean, I had an amazing party on Saturday, there's a cool dude in my life, and I have a great job opportunity on the horizon. Yay for balancing excitement and stress on my birthday!
