How long do you think it will be before donald trump denies he ever lived in New York?
He was born in New York, raised there, worked there, spent his entire life there, his identity was tied to Manhattan real estate. Then New York voted against him, he changed his state affiliation to Florida, and is now letting New York die of coronavirus. New York never liked him, even when he lived there, and now he’s turning on them and saying he never like them either. How long will it be before he lies and says he never lived there in the first place? That’s exactly the sort of thing he would lie about, he’d probably say something like “I maybe owned a few properties there, I don’t know, I don’t know every little detail, I have a tremendous company, very big, very rich, I own properties in a lot of places, No Good New York is just one of them, I never spent too much time there.” He’ll say that he’s lived in Florida his whole life, he’ll claim Mar-a-Lago to be his ancestral home, he’ll say he built it on his family’s plantation, even though he bought it in 1985 and it was built in 1927. Exactly one reporter will call him out on this lie, he will insult them on live TV, have an aid take their microphone away, and nobody will question him on it ever again.
