She looks down from the raised platform at the faces turned attentively to her, and can’t top the thought from coming. Fear or not, how many of you will make it back?

Today's Walking Photo: In case the mailbox and post aren't sufficient references for scale, this, errrrr, thing is an utter mystery. It is decidedly too small and the wrong shape to be a mattress, but it is too large to be a couch or chair cushion. It's too unstructured and amorphous to be one of those floor-sitting lounging dealies, and I can't imagine that it's a pet bed…but then maybe I'm wrong. One thing it most assuredly IS, however: FREE. (and I do appreciate that freehand typography)

So in the spirit of uncertainty and celebrating the unknown (I mean, my filename for this image is "indeterminate free cushion thing"), how about YOU tell me what it is. Wrong answers only. Have a great weekend.

Commodore Edward Kaspbrak and Pirate Captain Richard Tozier have a long and, some might say, colorful history. Ten years of clashing, ten years of rivalry, and ten years of Tozier mysteriously escaping as soon as he is within Eddie’s grasp. Almost as if the commodore had let him go.

With the world closing in on him and Tozier finding himself between a rock and a hard place, he enlists his old rival’s “help”, whether he likes it or not.
