Happy Independence Day, everyone! I would be lying if I say I am reading An Era Of Darkness by Shashi Tharoor @shashitharoor . No, no. I am studying it is more apt. This is a dense read and packed with facts and information that I am not able to read more than a few pages at a go. But it is a good read indeed and I have been underlining so many lines with my pencil. Currently bookmarked at Chapter 2. - - One of my favourite books on the Independence struggle is a non fiction book that is written more like a story and made me cry - Freedom at midnight. A novel about partition that I really want to read is The Ice candy man by Bapsi. - - Do you have fav books on the freedom movement ?
