Styling My Home with Indian Block Print Fabrics | A Love Letter to Slow Living
Lately, I’ve been leaning into a more intentional way of decorating my space — something softer, warmer, and more meaningful.
That’s when I stumbled across Thread to Form, a beautiful small brand offering hand block printed fabrics, bedding, rugs, and decor that instantly made my heart skip.
There’s just something about block prints — the imperfect symmetry, the hand-carved stamps, the feel of natural cotton — that adds soul to a room. ✨
My First Move: Block Print Bedding
I swapped out my plain duvet for one of Thread to Form’s hand block printed quilts in soft indigo tones. Layered it with mismatched pillows from their collection and suddenly… my bedroom felt like a peaceful, personal retreat. Calm. Collected. Intentional.
It’s amazing how something as simple as fabric can shift the whole energy of a room.
Next: Playing with Texture in the Living Room
I added a few block print cushions to my neutral couch and draped a printed throw across the armrest — now it feels like a cozy, boho reading corner. It’s the little details that make a house feel like a home.
Thinking of framing a scrap of block print fabric from their by-the-yard section as wall art next... 🎨
Why I Love Thread to Form
This isn’t just decor. Every piece from Thread to Form is handmade, ethically sourced, and celebrates traditional Indian craftsmanship. You can feel the care — in the prints, in the stitching, in the packaging. It’s slow design done right.
