Colourful streets under the rain

A series of Street photographs taken whilst middle of the rains in Vellore. The rain adds more drama and emotions to the picture, making it more vibrant and adding extra elements of the falling water drops.

The tones of the image are naturally enhanced by the wetness from monsoon rains, making it more deep in colours.

Innocent smile

Impromptu picture of a toddler smiling at her father as she hold umbrella, this image makes me smile at instance.

Being occupied

Even when it thunders and the storm hits, little miss is fully attentive in her business helping her grandma sell the diyas. Tiny mind wanders and gets curious organising the clay shaped into Diya and her little sister takes a moment to smile into the camera.

Daily encounters

Man carrying on his responses running chores despite the heavy rains.

Dark aesthetics

Lighting plays the important role in photography, rainy days can be a challenge to get a good picture because of such reason but rain just makes the visuals much better by all the colours reflecting onto other surfaces.

Empty roads

Always busy railway bridge being pretty much deserted during the rain in the mid of the way.
