I was wondering, why did Kazuhiko and KR takes side with indicus, while it is pretty clear that both of them didn't agree with what indicus is trying to do, and both of them maintains good communication and relationship with shiroe. It makes me wonder is it really just "I'll join the villain team to destroy them from inside, I'll be the bad guy to do good things from behind the scene" kind of thing? Or is there something more than it?
So of the old Tea Party members, Kazuhiko and KR were the ones “closest” to Indicus (for a very loose sense of the word). Basically, they recognized that she’s not exactly well in the head and wanted to try and curb her worst impulses when the Tea Party split up two years ago. In fact, they more or less privately went up to all the other members and went “yeah GTFO while you can, we’ll handle her meltdown.”
As you can imagine, that has more or less gotten them nowhere but neck-deep in stress. From a certain perspective, they’re a cautionary tale about the dangers of playing therapist for your friends, and specifically internet friends whose real selves you don’t know. (Indicus only ever participated in the real-life meetups by calling in but pointing her camera towards the ceiling so no one could actually see her.)
