The independent manufacturers were out in force for last weekend's North American Telemark Association, Telefest at Mad River Glen, VT. Voile and Lucid Skis were demo-ing their sweet made-in-the-USA skis. Bishop Bindings was showing off their absolutely bullet-proof (and made in Colorado) bindings. My existing bindings are feeling somewhat inadequate now. Looking for something different on the snow? Maybe gear that's locally made?
