I don't condone colonization but goddamn I would've crashed tf out too if I was Spanish instead of Mexica

Imagine being a smelly Spaniard only eating pottage soup consisting of old moldy barley, coniferous veggies, and old bread cooked for years making it a greyish bland bitter sludge. And then you go to the "new world" and every one smells like cocoa butter and incense. They have huge libraries and temples. They have loyal soldiers and prestigious schools. They're atronomers, botanists, surgeons, architects ,tactical military men. They're using colored dye for their clothes and face paint, a rare commodity only royals can have back in spain. they're eating tamales, popcorn, ceviche, guacamole, menudo, pozole, salsa, mole, chocolate, ect. Meanwhile I'm only eating pottage soup and gruel????
