Cellulose isn't digestible by humans – but it does, however, provide vital fibre in our diet.
"Soil: The incredible story of what keeps the earth, and us, healthy" - Matthew Evans
Oh, to be stomached for once…
ghost stories
Take shit to heart so I know you have one.
I’m done ripping pages out of a (blank) book
and looking at them with a ton on my chest.
It’s easier to reach. without those rose tinted glasses.
History might repeat itself with my luck
It’s tiring and exhausting and repetitive as fuck.
Reappearing. and leaving like an apparition,
for me. chasing you. is too much of a hassle.
You’re a thousand miles away,
but -- sometimes you feel a little too close.
*chewing the root-of-all-evil gum* ough my full time jaw.......
Anthony Fineran (B 1981), Indigestible Wax Bust, 2023
I look at the Divine like seeing lightning strike twice. I turn to my friend, still blinded by the light, and ask, “you saw that right?” We carry on with our day, but we still have That electric feeling. It’s the feeling of simultaneous joy and emptiness. Like filling a cracked vase.
The future always looks good to those who forget the past. Like a prayer, I say your name softly at least 10 times a day. It’s as if my subconscious wants to release you through breath.
You linger in the air like the smell of a shared cigarette. I breathe in what I know will kill me. It’s my own fault. I could run from it all. Become untouchable. Untouched. Unfortunately, the past always looks good to those who can’t see the future.
