indignantant replied to your post: Anyone have some Bruce and Tim prompts...
Bruce being confused by Tim and Dick’s new relationship post-Return of Bruce Wayne. Or (if you want to write happier pieces, which I suspect you might after the loss) Bruce helping Tim pick a college?
(SOBBING PERFECT PROMPT IS PERFECT)
When the Oxford packet, addressed to Timothy Jackson Drake, comes in the mail, Bruce doesn't even think about it. He just shreds it.
Tim isn't going to college on another continent.
The Sorbonne packet meets a similar fate.
There are four schools from California - Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford, and Cal Tech. Bruce drops those into the trash, because why would he go to school in California? There are plenty of great schools not along the Pacific Ocean.
Baylor and Rice are out, because Texas, really Tim? Tim would wilt in that climate.
Obviously Northwestern and University of Chicago are out. Chicago needs more work then one vigilante. Chicago needs a whole team and sending Tim out there alone would be useless.
Vanderbilt, U of Richmond, Harvard, and Yale are out. Bruce doesn't think Tim would like that stifling, competative environment.
He burns the Brown letter in his fireplace, tells himself that it's not rigid enough.
Ten days is usually how long it takes for Tim to make a trip back to the manor; squeeze in a dinner with Alfred, a chess game with Bruce. Do some laundry and nap in Bruce's study on his favorite couch.
Just like always, Bruce grunts his greeting, tells Tim that Alfred left a plate for him in the fridge and that his mail is in the usual spot.
This week along with the usual bills and junk mail and catalogs, the pile includes letters from Rutgers, Drexel, Princeton, and University of Pennsylvania.
"Bruce what the shit is this!?" The boy calls from the hallway, fury in his voice. "I didn't even apply to Rutgers!"
