When you're in two plays at the same time and trying to keep the characters from venturing in each others worlds. Bruh the struggle can get real.

(So sleeping on the floor & inarticulateness aside, last night was a fantastic dance night.)

Philly hasn't forgotten how to microblues*, guys, it's just that I haven't been out dancing past midnight** for a long time.  

Gushy magical dances with so many of my favorite leads.  Love flying about the room so thick that heart-fizzing compliments were the norm, music that I don't usually dance to leading to inspiration and creativity and giggling, fantastic live music and fun DJs and mmmm house party vibes.

*it's a thing that when we travel, we're kinda known for.  Cozy close embrace connection passed down from Jon & Carsie -- amuses me to no end when the question at the end of the dance with someone I haven't danced with before is 'you're from Philly, right?'

**at a blues/fusion thing. Hot Mess has Lindy til all hours of the morning, which is fun, but.
