Got back into working on Indigo Way again this week!
Definitely won't be finishing my B blocks before the second Old Town clue is released tomorrow, but have made some really great progress!

Got back into working on Indigo Way again this week!

Nine blocks down!
Some more progress on Indigo Way as the weekend goes by!
I'm now up to nine completed B blocks with lots more left to make, and having a great time putting them together! It's so exciting to finally have enough of them to be laid out like this and see how the blocks speak to one another, making interesting and unexpected secondary designs!
Of course, when the quilt actually comes together, these blocks will be mixed in with the A blocks, so it won't turn out like this, but it's a fun option to consider!
Finished the first set of units for clue three of Indigo Way!
I've really enjoyed this little twist on the classic half square triangle unit! The little square in the corner completely changes the effect!
And though I've been having fun making these units, the way they fit into the pattern has really confused me. Clue three had us make an odd number of units, which doesn't quite fit with the symmetrical way many quilt blocks are drafted.
I guess that's the fun of a mystery quilt!
Got started piecing my Indigo Way mystery quilt this morning!
The first clue was a set of half square triangles using my blue and teal fabrics! Some have a lot of contrast, some have only a little, but I love the way they've come together!
And I was so excited to get started on this project that I'm already finished the first clue! Now to wait another week before I can continue...
Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!
After a little break last week, I'm back today with a Project Update to get us all caught up on what I've been working on!
While I was mostly focused on piecing together the remaining blocks of my Indigo Way mystery quilt from last Winter, I did end up working on three different projects since my last update! Each of these has been coming together at their own pace, and I'm excited to hear your thoughts on my progress so far!

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!
With the release of Bonnie Hunter's part one instructions last Friday, I am so sad to already find myself falling behind on this quilt along. This is, of course, because I want to finish piecing my blocks from last year's mystery quilt before I get started on this new one!
Knowing that, I thought it might be fun to take a look at my history of making Bonnie Hunter mystery patterns! Short though it may be, I feel I've learned a lot of new skills and techniques through these mystery projects, as well as having learned quite a bit about my own stylistic preferences!
Check out the Fibre Arts blog to see how far I made it on each of these mystery projects and to read more about the choices I made along the way!
Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!
It's been about a month now since the last time I released a general project update, so this week seemed like a good time to share what I've been up to!
I'm excited to share the progress I've been making on my floral Dresden Plate blocks for the Generations Quilt project, my completed bee-themed Ice Cream Soda blocks, and my most recently completed clue for Indigo Way! All of these projects have been a lot of fun to work on and the various methods each employs have given me a lot of fun variety in my work!

Working my way through clue seven of Indigo Way!
After getting sick around New Years, I've finally started back to working on this quilt! I decided to jump ahead from clue four up to clue seven and start putting together some blocks, and I love how they're turning out!
I'm around half way through making these blocks and can't wait to keep piecing!
