i hate that post about powering the entire world with solar panels in the desert because it sounds like a good idea in theory but how do you think youll get that power to places like america or denmark that are mad far away, like using AC current may double the length you can send power but it doesnt mean you can just take the energy and push it somewhere else.

idk that post just makes it seem like it would be super simple to power the world with solar panels in the african deserts but its just not super feasible
