ive some people critisize the moment where Kit from Gamoverse changes her clothing and how well animated it is, as well as her changing to a swimsuit for the first episode

however, i think its actually an important part of her charachter!!! it shows *why* she is so attached to her world, and the people in it, and why its loss haunts her: *because she did the side quests*. she did all the little, seemingly pointless diversions for new outfits or minor stat boosts, because she thought the world would wait for her, and would remain for her to enjoy it

...which required her to talk to all the Npcs, travel across the map, engage with all of the weird quirks of her game mechanics. she wouldnt be as traumitised as she is if she went straight for each boss

she killed everyone she knew and all she got was a lousy t shirt
